If you purchase the CD, you will also have the opportunity to download the Digital Album and get some instant gratification while yer waiting for the postman.
Either way, if you're getting a download, it will be served up as a 'zip' file with all those juicy MP3s stuffed inside.

This second CD continues my efforts to summarize material from the past ten years. Frankly, it has only been possible because of the success of Positive.
I think it's fair to say that Superpower has a far more polished sound than Positive. Not surprising: we just started getting the hang of how to actually make a record before.
The basic idea running through these tracks is an appreciation I have for the innate heroism in people. I don't mean like you see on TV ('woman jumps off cliff to save baby!'). Rather, I mean just how so many of us really do a job every day. I mean, you don't have to look too hard in your own neighborhood to find not one, but many people with shoulders as broad as Atlas. I take a lot of comfort in this, especially since most of what we see on TV concerns the minority with feet of clay.
As before, every sound was played by me on my old guitars and basses plus mandolins, banjos, and sundry percussion instruments like bodhrán (Irish frame drum pronounced BOH-RAHN) and the bones of an ass. Mixing was done here at home in rainy Seattle during the Summer of 2003.
I welcome your comments and suggestions and please do check back here often. I guarantee a regular supply of new (and hopefully interesting) things for "your dining and dancing pleasure."
Thanks for stopping by.
