As per usual, I haven’t done nearly enough to market Nice Cuts, but I’m particularly sad about my lack of initiative on Start (how ironic) as I think it’s one of the pieces of which I am most happy. I hope you’ll give it a listen and ‘share’ it, or ‘like’ it or whatever the phrase à la mode seems to be.

I noticed that a lot of people are using Youtube videos simply as a vehicle for listening to music. So this piece is not much more than that; a hopefully pleasant business card to get people to check out the site and perhaps (perchance to dream), shell out for a CD.

All that aside, I’ve gotten a lot of grouses from people who want to be able to check out the material without even having to give up an e-mail address. (I’m shocked. Shocked.) OK, this is the way. The music is there any time you want via the fantastic new JCHarrisMusic Video Channel!

I’ll be re-posting the earlier videos, as well as new material as I get ‘er done. And my plan is to post as many of the earlier singles as I can in this ‘business card’ format.

One thing that prompted me to do this (and I may be the last guy in North America to figure this out) was when I figured out that about the easiest way to listen to music on my fancy schmancy ‘smart phone’ is via Youtube. Maybe this is yet another example of what’s killin’ music. But it’s definitely telling that the cell-phone gods have deigned to make the best music software the video software. Go figure.
