I just heard this record won a Grammy last week. Another “I used to know her when” deal. Maria’s transitioned from ‘jazz’ to ‘legit’ in the most amazing way. You can listen to ‘Walking By Flashlight’ at the bottom. Sublime. I particularly dig the last line: “…this man with the moon on a leash.” Now that’s poetry.
